Material Product Department

 

The working environment of Production Section in Material Product Department is automated and equipped with advanced technology furnace.  Staff of this Section is required to wear helmet, put on  mask and work on a 3-rotation shift pattern.

 

Substrate Department

The Production Section of the Substrate Department consists of Fabrication and Evaluation Sections.  The Evaluation Section is a class 100 & class 1000 clean room environment and the wearing of "jump suit" is required when on duty. Staff of the Fabrication and Evaluation Sections is required to work on a 3-rotation shift pattern.

Product Engineering Department

Administration Department

 

The staff that belongs to those departments is basically designated to work at the office, being required on day-shift pattern.

Prerequisites

 

Position (A) to (E)

 

§                      Diploma / ITE / NTC / NITEC in Mechanical, Electronics, Electrical, Mechatronics.

 

§                      Willing to work 3-shift pattern.

(A)          PRODUCTION ASSISTANT

Responsibilities

 

§          Performing, operating, maintaining and adjusting machines in assigned job under the supervision and support of more experienced members.   

 

§          Required to demonstrate understanding of “3S” activity and other NHTS initiatives.

Responsibilities

 

§          Practical experience in performing, operating, maintaining and adjusting machines in their care is needed.

 

§          Independently perform all assigned duties.

§          Independently perform all assigned job.

 

§          Required to provide advice/coaching to the Production Assistants and Production Team Members.

(E)            SENIOR TECHNICIAN

Responsibilities

 

§          Required excellent experience, performance and capability of Technician.

 

§          Required ability to supervisor, coach and train Technicians, Assistant Technicians, Production Team Members and Production Assistants.

 

§           Has significant experience with how specific processes and machines impact the quantity and quality of the product.

 

 

Prerequisites

 

Position (F) to (G)

 

§          Master / Degree in Mechanical, Electronics, Electrical, Mechatronics, Chemical.

 

§          Possess good communication and strong analytical skills.

 

§          Work experience with glass manufacturing / wafer / semi-conductor industries.

 

§          A “Hand-on” team player with good health condition.

 

 

(F)            ASSISTANT ENGINEER

 

Responsibilities

 

§          Required knowledge of both “How” the overall production processes operate, but also to have a grasp of “Why” of the process.

 

§          Good understanding of the entire production operation is needed.

 

§          Required in-depth knowledge of specific processes and machines and capability of solving problems.

(G)           ENGINEER

 

Responsibilities

 

§          Required in-depth knowledge of both “How” the overall production processes operate, but also to have a grasp of “Why” of the process.

 

§          Good understanding of the entire production operation is needed.

 

§          Should have an understanding of the actual glass chemistry as well as the physical processes, and/or the electrical/electronics field.

 

§          Required a professional level of knowledge, experience and capability of preventing

and solving problems.
