THE
MANUFACTURING TECHNOLOGY NH Techno Glass has utilized many new cutting edge
technologies in the pursuit to manufacture the best quality glass. NH has
developed many innovations that are unique. Here we showcase some the technologies
used in our manufacturing. Glass
substrates evolve to cater the customers demand. The dimension of the glass
grew bigger on the next generation. When the glass substrates get bigger
human handling and inspection becomes impossible. Therefore automations,
robots and integrated systems are needed to manufacture these glasses. Below
is a milestone on the growth of LCD glass substrates alongside with NHTS
technology and innovations. ![]() |

Melting Technology of high viscosity non-alkaline glass
TFT
LCD glass is required to maintain the special features such as non-alkali and
no transformation We have developed the advanced melting
technology based upon electric melting and oxygen combustion methods Forming
Technology of high viscosity non-alkaline glass TFT
LCD glass is also required to be perfectly flat on the surface and to be no
stress . We
have developed the special forming technology named NH style ,which requires
no polishing process We have utilized
high-accuracy measurement of the birefringence by optical heterodyne method |

LASER INSPECTION ![]() The
SEM-EDX machine is a specialized microscope to analyze a defect sample.
Millions of electrons are bombarded on the defect sample to determine the
element composition in the sample. By comparing this results with the
manufacturing material list the source of defect can be zeroed and rectified.
This ability is very crucial to manufacturing. |

Contact
Angle measures the cleanliness of the glass substrates. A cleaned surface
generally wet well to water. A modified surface with fluorinate coating
repels water. Contact Angle (q) quantify the level of this wetting,
and it is defined as “ angle formed between the liquid and solid surfaces
(angle inside the liquid) where the free surface of stasis liquid contacts
with solid surface.” in the dictionary of physics and chemistry. The cross
sectional view is given below. |
